Banks will be closed for 16 days in the first month of the new year, ensuring you have the required work
At present the countrymen are painted in the colors of the New Year celebrations and are welcoming the New Year with great enthusiasm. But in the first month of this new year, 2020, the country's banks will be closed for 16 days in January. These days all public holidays are involved.
However, as per the data available, these holidays will depend on different banks and states. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of holidays according to banks and states so as not to cause confusion among the people about bank holidays. It should be noted that banks in the country are closed every Sunday and on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. So this list of holidays includes 4 Sundays and 2 Saturdays.
Looking at the bank holidays in January 2020, people should plan their transactions and banking activities accordingly. Therefore, no problem arises over time. The list announced by the Reserve Bank will have 10 holidays + 4 Sundays + 2 Saturdays, ie a total of 16 holidays.
